Hi I’m Becca, the face behind Paws in the Pines :)

Having lived a stones throw away from the Brecon Beacons National Park, I have always loved being outdoors, surrounded by wildlife and animals.

My keen interest in animal welfare and wildlife conservation lead me to move away and study a bachelor’s degree in Zoology at University. But within my second year of study, I soon realised that living in a concrete city wasn’t suited for me. I found city life too swamped and slightly chaotic.

I returned to South Wales and worked as a professional dog walker. Within the first week, I knew that a career in pet/animal care aligned with my values and passions.

Fast-forward a couple months later, I took the leap to start-up my own pet care business. I completed my canine certifications to better my understanding of canine behaviour and training.

With a new in-depth understanding of four-legged companions, Paws in the Pines was set-up in June 2026.
